For over one hundred years, our history, our faith and our stewardship has been generously passed on from one generation to the next. Beginning with one hundred Italian families, the parish was founded in 1896. Under the leadership and spiritual guidance of many pastors, this community has grown into a vibrant parish of approximately seven hundred dedicated, loyal and multi-cultural families who, over the past century, have diligently made the Gospel of Christ manifest, in different ways, to many in the Bryan-College Station, Texas area. The Roman Catholic faith of the people tells a wonderful story of love, generosity, difficulties, struggles, human weaknesses, and the ultimate triumph of goodness. It's a story of God's love for the human family, our sincere effort to respond properly to that love and the wonderful invitation to share His life forever.

 

Today, we continue to build a solid base and find value in our lives by sincerely practicing our Catholic faith through attendance at week-end and daily Masses, devotion to the Perpetual Novena in honor of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, adoration to the Blessed Sacrament, retreats, private prayers, novenas, and other ways of growing spiritually. In addition, as a faith-filled people, we are active in various Eucharistic, Social, and liturgical ministries. We have a strong religious education program for all ages and youth ministry. We minister to the bereaved, the handicapped and the infirmed. We are a community of builders enjoying fun and fellowship.

The doors of the parish are open to everyone wishing to join and become part of a community of love, service and work for the greater glory of God. We walk into the future with great confidence as we grow in our love for Christ as a missionary parish, one that seeks to reach out to God and to others.In thanksgiving to God, through the intercession of St. Anthony, we are truly a blessed and happy family as the spirit of God continues to dwell in each of our hearts and souls.
